I recently made it into Master’s rank in constructed play using a Rogue minion deck — so let’s break it down

This deck is built upon the following deck from p0rn, which won the ManaGrind Tournament early in November.

So you don’t have to click through and watch, here’s the decklist (Hearthhead):

Minions Amount
Bloodmage Thalnos x1
Defias Ringleader x2
Loot Hoarder x2
Novice Engineer x2
Edwin VanCleef x1
Harvest Golem x2
Shattered Sun Cleric x2
SI-7 Agent x2
Dark Iron Dwarf x2
Defender of Argus x2
Gnomish Inventor x2
Azure Drake x2
Argent Commander x2
Spells Amount
Backstab x2
Deadly Poison x2
Eviscerate x2

However, I don’t have Bloodmage Thalnos nor Edwin VanCleef. I also don’t have the dust needed to craft them. So I replaced them with Leper Gnome and Stormwind Champion. Leper Gnome is a good replacement for Thalnos, they have similar deathrattles and they’re both cheap minions. Stormwind Champion is great in a minion based deck like this since you can instantly buff the minions you have out.

Also, I felt that having two Defender of Argus was a little excessive. If you happen to have both of them in your hand, it can be hard to play both and get the full benefit of their buffs. So I replaced one of them with Shadowstep. This deck has a lot of battlecry cards, so adding a Shadowstep to double dip on these effects is very powerful.

So my final deck looks like this (Hearthhead):

Minions Amount
Leper Gnome x1
Defias Ringleader x2
Loot Hoarder x2
Novice Engineer x2
Harvest Golem x2
Shattered Sun Cleric x2
SI-7 Agent x2
Dark Iron Dwarf x2
Defender of Argus x1
Gnomish Inventor x2
Azure Drake x2
Argent Commander x2
Stormwind Champion x1
Spells Amount
Backstab x2
Deadly Poison x2
Eviscerate x2
